How it works

Private links

Every event is private. Only people with its share link, the organisers and the players who signed up can see it. Nothing is listed publicly.

Sign-ups and waitlist

Players open the link and tap I'm in — alone, with a partner, or asking to be paired. When a division is full, new players join the waitlist and move up automatically if someone drops out.

Fair schedules

Round robin (singles or fixed teams): everyone plays everyone once, spread across your courts, with a rest round when numbers are odd.

Social mixer (round robin · rotating doubles partners): players sign up alone and get a new partner each round and sit-outs shared evenly. The default is players − 1 rounds, capped at 5; the organiser can pick any number, and PickleIn says up front how many games each person gets.

Scoring and changes on the day

Organisers enter scores from their phone; everyone else sees the schedule and standings update live. Real life rarely follows the plan, so organisers can also swap players, add a walk-in, move a game, mark it “didn't play”, or add an extra game.

Standings

Ranked by wins, then point differential (points won minus points lost), then points scored. With fixed teams or singles, a tie on wins is settled by head-to-head first.

#PlayerW+/−Points
1Ana2+931
2Ben2+429
3Cruz1+633

Ana and Ben both have 2 wins; Ana's +9 beats Ben's +4. Cruz scored the most points but has fewer wins, so is third.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Creating an event, signing up and scoring cost nothing.

Who can see my event?

Only people you send the link to, your co-organisers, and players who signed up. There's no public listing or search.

Can I duplicate an event?

Yes — from the event page or your My events list. The copy keeps the location, description and every division's settings, gets a new private link, and starts with no sign-ups or scores. Players can duplicate events they joined too; the copy is theirs to run.

What if plans change on the day?

The organiser can edit any game: change who's playing, add a walk-in, move a game to another court or round, mark it “didn't play”, or add an extra game. Standings always follow the games as they were really played. Reset the schedule to start over — players and settings stay.
